My mother and I frequent this place for many reasons, the first I believe is the food and the wine. They always have a good combo of 6 Argentinian wines you can have for a very accesible price. Drink a bottle each day and the seventh go back to el Cambalache. Of course the service is the best and the hosts really hospitable, they'll remember your face and what you had last time and give you new recommendation. First, my husband got food poisoning from eating chorizo. It really didn't smell great, so that was the only thing I didn't have with him.
Second, can you hire normal smiling servers? They are literally angry looking, definitely the one we got on the second floor. Horrible customer service for a place of this caliber.

Read moreThis Cambalache Restaurant is one of the best branches of this restaurant and in my personal opinion. Servers are focused to customer experience and they are always looking to deliver topnotch service.
Atmosphere is nice and for a nice dinner meal for family or business. Also, this is a good option for a special or celebration dinner as well. Meals are well prepared and meat (specialties) is really worth to try... really recommended.
Perhaps, it is a good idea to make a reservation if coming at "rush" hours or 9n weekends.
