Secret Room Yoga Polanco — Local services in Mexico City

Their packages/policies are nearly at scam levels. Which is a shame for a pretty location.

1. If you already pay for a class, and are not able to make it (even letting them know 2 hours in advance!), you get CHARGED A SECOND TIME FOR THE SAME CLASS. IE For a class you already paid for you have to pay twice if you have to cancel. WHY? The missed class is paid for.

2. This is the only yoga in nearly the world I have been to that only offers 1hr classes, let alone the highly standard `1hr 15 mins, or 1hr 30 as is 100% typical everywhere else, especially at the very high price point.

3. Their 10 pack "flexible package" has a super short expiration period. Why offer a flexible 10 pack if people do not have the time to use it? It is the least flexible thing I have encountered after a lifetime of yoga.

This place is a shame. Get it together, you could be great if you were out for more than...

I came here while traveling and was so happy I did. The studio is Beautiful and welcoming, class was just the right amount of challenging, and taught with a lot of knowledge and felt really good in my body. Options were given so that I felt welcome to modify the practice as needed and the teacher, Bali, went out of her way to give us a really great practice. I was ready to fumble my way through the Spanish class, instead of taking an English class, because thar was what was best for my schedule. But the teacher figured out very quickly that my friend and I were English speaking, so not only was she teaching the class in Spanish and Sanskrit, she also taught the class in English. This was one of the best classes I've ever taken while traveling. If I lived local, I would be here all the time....

Some of the the teachers are ok, Fer Romero is really good ... happened to like few others. The rooms are ok, outdoors is lovely- def. dont expect hot yoga when you go for hot yoga - lukewarm at best :)... app bugs with reservations, no emails are send for bookings or cancellation, stuff is hopeless and zero custome service feeling; they keep charging unauthorised classes that you "took" or "cancelled" last min without proof... so for me this was the flip point:) There is def better studios for people who want serious proper yoga classes too :) this will do for a begging...
