Café del Parque — Restaurant in Mexico City

Not sure why this place doesn't come up on a restaurant search of the area, but it's a great little neighborhood spot. Unlike most of the restaurants in the neighborhood, it's affordable and not someplace you go to be seen. I can see this as a weekly night out with my girlfriend. The manager who seated us was very friendly and talked with us like we were regulars on our first visit. The only reason I gave it less than 5 stars is because the food is not at the level of others in the neighborhood, but neither is the price. OMG! Café del Parque is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and an inviting atmosphere. But the real star of the show? The food!

I had the chilaquiles, and let me tell you, these were the best I have ever tried! The perfect balance of crunch and sauce, topped with fresh ingredients that made every bite a delight. The flavors were authentic, rich, and incredibly satisfying.

Comida: Fuimos a desayunar y ordenamos chilaquiles con arrachera . La arrachera estaba suave cita, muy rica, los Frijoles los asan con manteca lo cual le da un sabor muy rico, la porción era bastante buena, aunque la salsa de los chilaquiles no picaba. También pedimos onelette con espinacas y queso qué venía acompañado de una ensalada. El Omelet era bueno a secas, la ensalada no tenía nada de extraordinario, sólo era la lechuga (algo seca) acompañada de germen de alfalfa. No tenía ni nos duetos aceite o vinagreta o limón, por lo que la verdad éste no fue lo mejor y es x eso que no le doy un 5 a la comida, además de que no te ponen picante y pedí salsa y la que me dieron no tenía sazón ni picaba.

Postres: pedimos un pay de queso con frambuesa qué estaba muy rico, no muy dulce, cremosito y con mermelada natural. Lo recomiendo mucho

Bebidas: creíble ha sido el único lugar donde me hamburguesa dado una taza de 400 ml. De café, es bastante grande y el sabor del café es bueno a secas, con buen cuerpo aunque en temperatura. estaba tibio. Los Jugos estaban a temperatura ambiente (tuvimos que pedir hielos) y un poco amargos pero son muy ricos (pedimos un antioxidante y un antigripal).

Servicio: el servicio es bueno a secas. Pides las cosas o dos o tres veces y tienes que pedir que se lleven tus platos porque literalmente pasan los meseros y los ven y ahí los dejan. Por lo demás, son amables. Esta es la única razón por la que no le pongo 5 estrellas al lugar. También tuvimos que pedir que nos llevarán bolillo o tortillas porque no te los llevan desde el principio. La salsa te la ponen...
