IHOP — Restaurant in Mexico City

The place is nice, as it is with most IHOP locations in Mexico city. Didn't wait to be seated. Unfortunately, do not expect a high quality service in any IHOP location within Mexico city. The IHOP "spreading happiness" experiences I've encountered lately (post 2020), are from similar to the experiences in USA's locations, for the same time period. That said, except for a few serve-people (if your lucky to get one attending you), do not expect getting fast meals, do not expect getting hot or warm meals, rather, lukewarm or cold; don't expect to get clean mugs (I don't mind if they are old, I do mind if they have lipstick or trace of them). And of course, once they bring part of your meal, you can profit to ask them once for all, to set the rest of your meal in to-go containers, because the serve-person will literally disappear from your sight, until you ask the check, that surprisingly won't take a ½ minute to arrive to your table. That is HOW BAD it gets when you go to IHOP Mexico city (Gran Patio Universidad, Sta Fe, Parque Delta, Las Américas, Oceanía, Lindavista, and...

La verdad que la experiencia fue de mal en peor. Como muchos comentarios dicen, el servicio es lento pero muy lento. Tengo que decir que algunos comentan que los meseros se ponían groseros, la verdad que eso es lo único que fue bueno en mi visita, se mostraron muy amables. Pero volviendo al tema, se tardan en tomarte la orden, se tardan mucho en traer los platillos. Incluso pareciera que no se tardan porque estén preparando los platillos, parece más que los platillos están rápido y se tardan en ir por ellos, y entonces, además que se tardaron, tus alimentos si bien te va llegan tibios y algunas cosas seguramente frías. El día que fui seeeegun dijeron que la máquina de café tenía una avería, pero bueno eso sí es a gustos pero a mí el café de ahí ha Sido, sin afán de exagerar, el más pésimo que he probado, era agua tibia con color, pedí que me lo cambiasen y lo hicieron, seguía igual, pedí una tercera vez que lo cambien y seguía igual malísimo, vamos que terminé cambiando el café por un té para no atorarme con la comida fría. La verdad que no vuelvo a ir a ningún iHop (al menos el de patio universidad, wtc y este han Sido experiencias muy similares :( ). Y bueno para acabarla, la verdad que los pancakes no son cosa de otro mundo, y aunque lo fuese, repito, acompañados de un pésimo café, pierden mucho sentido. Y bueno, el remate que muchos comentan, y estoy de acuerdo, los precios son medio-altos, pero se agrava porque todo es por separado (al menos nada te incluye bebidas) y aunque no percibas tan caro pagar 179 por una media omelet, de repente cuenta de 600 por 2 personas... La verdad que con ese presupuesto puedes comer...

Had a chocolate cream crepe and the crepe not only was stale but rock hard, tiny , expensive and definitely not tasty , it was a great a few years ago, but this apocalypse and inflation is killing these casual restaurants

it really isn't worth it for the price and portions, sure the pancakes are fine, but I can have those back home at a quarter of the price

going downhill, hard to be able to recommend it anymore , and it does not seem it will ever get to the yummy...
