A True Taste of Mexico, Filled with Heart La Poblanita is a place that feels like coming home. I first discovered it with a friend and was instantly hooked on their delicious food. The tacos, guacamole with chicken liver, the green adobo, and the nopales are all absolutely fantastic. It was a fun coincidence to later find out my parents and uncles had been eating here for years, and ever since then, I've adopted it as my go-to spot for authentic Mexican food. The staff is always nice and friendly, the food is amazing, and the prices are very affordable. This isn't a fancy, luxury restaurant; it's a family business that puts love and respect into every dish. Going there with my mother, who loves their chile in nogada, is always a treat. Don't miss their fresh and delicious agua de sabor (flavor water) and the incredible sesos with guacamole, it's a dream! This is the ideal place to go with your family and share dishes. If you're looking for an authentic and heartwarming Mexican dining experience, you have to try...

We went there specifically for their mole poblano/rojo. It was as good as any mole poblano as I've ever had. The restaurant has been in service for 70 years and still run by the same family. One of the owners was out on the steps greeting everyone as they came in. She is losing her sight, but still came looking for my wife and I to see how we liked the mole. She ordered us some rice and beans on the house to make sure we were able to have the mole with different sides to see just how great it was. Loved this experience and we'll...

I have been twice at La Poblanita. I heard great things about it, but my experiences are not great.

I had the chiles en nogada the first time and enchiladas de mole the second time. They were good but not great.

It is a good restaurant, without a doubt. The service is great and the staff is very friendly. The food is fine, it is at the same level as any mercado de barrio, but way more expensive.

Do not misunderstand me. It is good food, but I expected something better according to the fame of La Poblanita....
