UNSANITARY!! DO NOT EAT HERE!!

One star- for the staff waiving the food fee.

I was hopeful about this place because it was consistently busy. I unfortunately was horrified at the lack of hygiene and care for the raw materials. I watched my first roll being made and thought "is this for real??" Where I come from, I have sushi all the time, so I can say with certainty that eating here is a gamble with possible food poisoning. I watched the chef use the SAME cloth over and over to wipe his work space, his hands, and the knife being used when I got there and when I ordered. There were chunks of fish all over it. There's no saying how long this cloth was used for, let alone how many bacteria could have accumulated on it. I'm just glad I trusted my gut and didn't...

I heard about this place from a few friends and was still a little skeptical about good sushi at the airport. I have to say this stop is a must. Located in terminal 2 of the Mexico City airport is a little sushi counter that has great quality sushi. We sat at the counter, which seats only 10 people, and were immediately amazed because you could see everyone I front of you preparing all sorts of sushis. We asked if they could send 10 different nigiris, omakase style. They were very accommodating and each one was amazing. It is in the expensive side so some had caviar or foie gras, nonetheless the quality of the fish was great. Highly recommend making a pit stop, even if it is only to have 3...

Super overpriced. More expensive than New York & La but with Mexican quality service. Don’t order the roll with the crispy salmon skin. It’s $25 USD for 6 pieces of rice with salmon & salmon skin and it’s not crunchy, it’s chewy and bitter.

They let your dirty sushi plates pile up in such a small plate (you’re eating at the sushi bar), they don’t clean up or come pick them up when you’re done. You have to ask them to clean up so you can order more pieces. Lazy, unfriendly waiters. Arrogant chefs.

Worst service, worst prices, OK sushi

I didn’t leave a tip because the service was so bad and the waiter followed me and asked “no propina” and I told him why and he insulted me. His name is...

An absolute must if you are flying out of AICM/terminal 2. Seating is limited and it’s already a bit crowded even though the place opened must a few weeks ago (this is my second time here in 15 days). The wait is worth it, ask them to put you on their wait list if full. Service is outstanding, Itamae Said gave wonderful recommendations, including freshly arrived uni. He said it had arrived two hours prior and I have to say it was definitely fresh. Uni, toro, chutoro, salmon, kampachi, wagyu, really anything you order is outstanding. I would eat here every day if possible. Highly recommended. Don’t be afraid to ask for recommendations.
