Tacos Los Paisas — Restaurant in Mexico City

Some of the best tacos I've ever had. The toppings selection is incredible: nopales, mashed potatoes, pico de gallo, beans, guacamole, onions, and some others I can't remember. The tortillas are freshly made and well proportioned. Nice and thick, too. They don't have biggest meats selection but what they do have is very good, particularly bistec and longaniza. Drinks aren't too sugary either. Gets busy early, which adds to the charm of street food, but they are open late. Plenty of little tables around.

My only recommendation would be to go back to the old system where you asked for the toppings instead of serving them yourself. Gets crowded, some people take a long time (understandably), and the tacos get a little cold. I'd much rather wait in line again if I want something extra which MAY just encourage me to buy another taco. Either way, this place...

The best tacos in CDMX. Grab a plate, choose your meat filling(s), then fill them from a self service area. Utterly delicious and amazing value. Los había visto en videos y a través de recomendaciones en redes sociales y hace poco fui a probarlos al fin. En la esquina de Jesús María con Regina está el local de Los Paisas, uno que de inmediato se volvió de mis favoritos para darle al pipirín. De inicio el modo de pago es en efectivo solamente y antes de pedir debes soltar la plata para que te entreguen unas fichas con las cuales puedes ahora sí pedir tus tacos. La tortilla es hecha a mano y al momento, con tamaño bastante generoso en el cual ponen porciones igual de generosas con las viandas del lugar. Sea bistec, longaniza, campechano o de pastor, los tacos son buenos en cuanto a sazón y sabor. Aunado a eso, los puedes completar con frijoles, pico de gallo, guacamole, nopales o papas en puré, también puedes juntar todo eso y armar un taco de buen tamaño ya que con la tortilla, que además es resistente, abarca todo en un sitio. Lo bueno es que además de que puedes llevar tu propio refresco, los puedes bajar con las aguas que ahí te ofrecen.
