Best food I've ever eaten. I've never tried tortillas soup. It's was hardy like stew. The medium is a full meal. It comes with garlic bread. We've never had bread that good. It's insanely light. Like air. The soup is perfect for Canadian winters. The owner gave me the recipe. What restaurant does that? I couldn't finish my garlic shrimp. Pat's ribs were to die for. They do take credit cards. Someone wrote that they don't. We're staying at the Hampton Inn in Nuevo Vallarta. Someone wrote that from the hotel there is a trail right where you'd expect...I was like what kind of comment is that? It's actually true. Leave the lobby, go right, walk the trail beside the guard rail (there is no sidewalk) go down the first trail that heads down between two residential buildings. That trail walks past an outdoor alter with pews on the right. Go left on the street, walk to the corner and the restaurant is on the corner on the right. I dont even think there was a sign. We were the only ones there at 5pm. The service was excellent. The food excellent. We...

They pulled up to "a house" with a big gate closed to what seemed to be a parking area. Taxi driver said they are closed... 15 seconds later, a man runs out and says "Please come in. We are open"... The big gate opens to what looks like a combination parking area and patio. Kitchen looked like someone I'd have in my house. Several tables of are spread out and we are their first customers of the night... Loved it! Really felt like I was eating at someone's home. The wait staff were all very attentive and accommodating. Prices were great for big margaritas and big portions. Even though we were their first customers that night, it filled up quickly. Obviously tourist folks know about this spot... Avoid the big touristy locations in PV and support small "mom and pop" type...
Read moreQuiet, ultra casual and smack dab in the middle of a local neighborhood. Family run, excellent service, really good food. The family dog a beautiful black shepard gave one bark from the upstairs balcony. When we looked and said hello and gave him a bit of attention, he was content and laid down. I had the molcajetes all meat called Martha and just what I felt like last night. My husband had the ribs. Delish! The tortilla soup is wonderful as well. We’ve been before and will of...
