Jorge's Kitchen — Restaurant in Nayarit

I saw a YouTube video and the person talked about Jorge's Kitchen. We decided to give it a try and were pleasantly surprised by the food. The place is not much to look at but it has nice seating. The people in the kitchen do a good job cooking. I opted for the Mexican plate with scrambled eggs and beans. My wife went for eggs fruit and bacon. We also ordered a couple of lattes. We both liked the food and decided to come back the next day. For breakfast the next day I ordered pancakes and my wife had the Mexican plate. Unfortunately my pancakes were not good. Great little place for breakfast. Coffee was very good. I had the Plato jack, which was very good. My partner had the ham omelet, and it was stuffed with ham. Only one negative. There was a guy with a guitar playing. He played 2 songs and went table to table asking for money. It was kind of uncomfortable as he wasn't taking no for an answer. If you are looking for an authentic Mexican desayunos (breakfast), then look no further! Cocina de Jorge was our favourite place to get breakfast and we ate there several times on our trip. The restaurant is cozy and clean, and the service excellent! Everything we tried was delicious but my personal favourites are the chillequilles con huevo, chilaquilles nortenos, enfrijoladas and divorciados.
