Sushi Roll Galerías Monterrey — Restaurant in Nuevo León

Food flavor is OK but took over 30 minutes to get our yakimeshi and it was cold. Then 10 minutes passed and just received one out of 3 rolls.

Then the waiter comes with the second roll after a while, puts it on the table and asks if everything was OK, to which we replied we were still missing another roll and the kushiages.

Place was not even half-full when we arrived. They said the kitchen personnel was very busy. There were only 3 cooks, which honestly should be enough to make the rolls in a timely manner but somehow they did not deliver.

Asked for the manager to discuss my complaints and waiter just went away. Finally grabbed my check and went to the manager and he did nothing even though I clearly pointed out my dissatisfaction. Know I understand why they keep hiring useless people at all levels in a customer-first business.

El pasado fin de semana acudimos mi esposa y yo alrededor de las 14:00 hrs. El restaurante tenía aproximadamente un 25% de ocupación: la parte interna estaba completamente vacía y en la parte externa (la que da al pasillo de la plaza) había varias mesas disponibles. Al revisar el menú en el exterior, decidimos ingresar a consumir.

Una hostess nos recibió y, tras preguntarnos para cuántas personas era la mesa, le indicamos que para dos. Nos pidió esperar un momento y fue por otra persona, quien se limitó a decirnos, con una actitud poco cordial, que “por el momento todas las mesas para dos personas están ocupadas, sólo tengo mesas para más personas”, dándonos a entender que no había lugar para nosotros, a pesar de que claramente había mesas disponibles.

Decidimos retirarnos, y justo en ese momento entró otra pareja (de tez blanca), quienes sí fueron recibidos y asignados a una mesa sin ningún inconveniente. Nosotros somos de tez morena, y no podemos evitar sentir que hubo un trato desigual.

No puedo opinar sobre la calidad de los alimentos porque no se nos permitió consumir. Esta experiencia fue decepcionante y nos hizo sentir incómodos e invisibilizados. Ojalá el restaurante tome cartas en el asunto para asegurar una atención equitativa y profesional para todos sus clientes,...
