We practically stumbled upon the place, while looking for a doctors clinic. What a pleasant surprise it was…! 🙌😃 we are a family of coffee lovers, so much that we have our own coffee roaster back in Monterrey, which means that we can evaluate and appreciate a good coffee. Giovanni explained is that they’re a family of coffee growers and they grow and harvest their own coffee here in the high mountains of Oaxaca. We tried an expresso and a French press and we truly loved the rich flavor with powerful notes and oily texture. We’ve tried coffee from Oaxaca before (from Pluma), but we continued with our preference for coffee from Coatepec, VER. Now, I was truly delighted with this particular coffee. They take pride in what they do, their service is excellent and their prices more than fair. We come very often to puerto Escondido and from now on, this is going to be an obligated stop for us.

Sadly the quality of the flat white at the weekend is not the same and the quality of the barista is a difference. But from Monday to Friday you get a good one

The coffee here was decent, a nice strong taste, quite dark. It had a nice atmosphere and I enjoyed being there until.... the music was turned on. It was the very worst cafe music (or Muzak rather) I've ever heard. In my opinion, as the staff seemed to enjoy it, and other customers seemed not to mind. It was exclusively budget saxophone muzak covers.

After hearing a saxophone wail the melody to 'bleeding love' by Leona Lewis, I knew I wouldn't be coming back anytime soon.
