I personally loved everything about this place! The setting, the food, the ambience, etc.! My friends and I came here for a quick and chill dinner, and we were actually the only ones in there at the time, which might've been cause for worry about food poisoning, but no worries we were totally fine! It might've just been because nobody else had been craving mediterranean food in Oaxaca at the time, who knows. The atmosphere was super neat, and the decorations made me feel like I'd stepped into a different country altogether. I ordered the falafel sandwich? with a side of couscous? or some type of quinoa salad (my goodness I need to educate myself on the actual names of these dishes) and I tried some of my friend's falafel bowl. Both were amazing in my opinion! I'm just a big mediterranean food lover, I'm not picky. I also ordered some chai, which was little more earthy than I like but ah well. At least the kombucha my friend ordered was good. Staff were super chill and very kind, we tipped them a little more than we'd anticipated but ah well I think they deserve it. Overall awesome place if you're craving some...
Read moreWe had a lavish dinner here yesterday. We started with Briouates, small, delicious, goat cheese filled filo pastry turnovers; then a pair of skewered merguez sausages. Even the tabbouleh, a dish I'm not usually fond of, was unusually good.
Throughout our meal, we drank scalding hot mint tea, elegantly served from a Moroccan tea set.
Two of us indefatigable diners concluded with cheese pies, one distinguished by goat cheese, the other dotted with berries. I also had a very good, very strong café Americano. Service was very attentive and helpful.
There were some errors on the bills, but they were...
Read moreGreat food. We have been to Morocco and the taste is authentic enough. The portions are tiny though, plus in Morocco they Always give you a ton of baked bread buns. The prices are quite high for the quantity but not for the quality. I was disappointed because it wasn't practical to order more as dishes take about 15 minutes to arrive and the pastilla for instance is micro sized. I got some more food on the way home. Just order 1 full dish for each person (not the pastilla, that is tapas) and get a few side dishes etc. etc. For 2 people that should run you about 600 without alcohol. Also in Morocco when we ordered tea it was bottomless. Here we ordered tea for two, they brought a tiny little pot and never...
