Restaurante El Pipe — Restaurant in Oaxaca

Went out for an early walk and found El Pipe, thank goodness! The cafe was lovely in a beautiful setting. Service was friendly and fast. The coffee was fantastic. I enjoyed the Estofatadas (the sauce was incredible) with delicious fresh made tortilla and a side order of eggs. They had salsa verde that was spicy and was a great addition to the dish. A few friends joined after and they all enjoyed their meals, chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, and cappuccino. Definitely recommend this place, don’t wait, go...

In a town of great food, this place can be avoided, despite the cheap price. Chips at lunch were stale--served before, I'd guess. My fish was half raw and had to be recooked. That evening got stomach ill--not food poioning but persistent stomach bug. True, it might have been from something or somewhere else, but I don't think so. ...

Mmmmm estuve un fin de semana para desayunar en el que está en Pino Suárez, como llegué tarde ya mis amigos habían pedido el buffet, así que elegí lo mismo 😫, el "buffet" de dos platos fuertes uno con salchichas y otro de chilaquiles verdes, Ahh y huevos revueltos😮... obvio cuando me paro a servir me tocan lo que quedó de chilaquiles ya revueltos y deshechos, no había crema, no había queso ni salsa, lo que si había era como cuatro meseros de los cuales ni uno pudo darse cuenta de lo que faltaba, con la pena tuve que solicitar me dieran lo que faltaba, preguntamos por pan para acompañar el café y nos dijeron que no había 😖, como sea nos ofrecieron pan tostado, bueno... El caso es que mis chilaquiles los TUVE que comer con huevos revueltos😤 pues con salchichas no va 🙄 y obvio pues con frijoles y tuve que pedir salsa también, al final la plática con mis amigos y el lugar estuvo bien, pero si nos quedamos decepcionados del "buffet", a ver si para la próxima pido del menú, ojalá eso si se parezca a las fotos que...
