La Flor De Zicatela — Restaurant in Oaxaca

I don’t write reviews like this often but I feel we all search these review for a reason so it’s important to share.

The staff here were unfriendly. When we dropped in the first day and asked for information on the vegetarian options one woman scoffed and didn’t answer while another person reluctantly answered our question.

The day we called in for food, the woman answered us kindly but my partner and I both felt the veggie burrito wasn’t so special and when we paid with a good tip the woman seemed happy to have us leave.

One of the best kept secrets in Puerto Escondido is how good the food at the Flor de Zicatela is. Halfway up the Brisas de Zicatela (the two way road that leads from Playa Zicatela to the Costera) on the right is a very good Restaurant called, Flor de Zicatela.

Christina is one of the best cooks in town and everyone at this Restaurant is friendly, welcoming, helpful and super nice. It is a very comfortable, clean place to eat.

This restaurant has great service, great foods and juices, all at a very good price. Flor de Zicatela is one of my favorite places to eat in Puerto Escondido. I highly recommend this...

I adore this place! Great food and kind, fast service just a few blocks up from the beach. I’ve been here only 3 days and gone there twice! First time, I got scrambled eggs, fruit, and a smoothie.
