After taking a fishing charter, the captain recommended to try this place as they served good seafood. Went there in the afternoon and it was packed but was able to get a table pretty quick. Had the dozen oysters, shrimp cocktail and Jaiva. I actually saw an older gentleman walking out of the ocean onto the beach and into the restaurant with a large bag of oysters. Fresh ingredients, delicious recipes, and unbeatable prices. What more can you ask for from a seafood restaurant? While they do have several vendors coming around trying to sell you stuff, a simple "No gracias" is enough to get them to leave you to your meal. The taxi driver I asked for a seafood recommendation assured me that this is the best place to go to in all of Puerto Escondido and I have to admit he was correct! Seafood cocktail was bad. Tiny shrimp, with poop vein still inside all of them. Very sweet/corn syrup like red sauce. I had way better & bigger shrimp (deveined) hundreds of miles inland in Guadalajara. The shrimp here was unacceptable, especially for ocean front seafood restaurant. Tortilla chips were also cold & stale.

However, location is super beautiful, right on the beach. If you go, MAKE SURE to order cooked/hot dishes and you may be alright. Feel lucky I didn’t get sick...
