Food
Camarones al Ajillo Succulent shrimp sautéed in a fragrant garlic mojo with chile guajillo, served alongside crispy potatoes. This dish is a bold yet balanced play on classic flavors — the shrimp are tender, and the guajillo-infused garlic sauce adds just the right amount of smoky heat. The potatoes provide a satisfying crunch that rounds out the plate beautifully. 9/10
Camarones al Coco Crispy coconut shrimp paired with sweet and sour mango sauce, pineapple-habanero mashed potatoes, and a marinated vegetable salad dressed with sesame. A vibrant dish that excels in contrast and harmony. The crisp texture of the shrimp pairs exquisitely with the tropical sweetness of mango and the subtle heat of the mashed potatoes. The salad adds freshness and balance. 9/10
Pulpo a la Parrilla Grilled octopus marinated in chimichurri, served over roasted chambray potatoes, grilled asparagus, and finished with a roasted garlic dressing. This was the standout of the evening. The octopus was masterfully grilled — tender, charred, and flavorful. The herbaceous chimichurri and the mellow garlic dressing tied the dish together with finesse. 10/10
Drinks
Menta Limonada & Frappuccino Moka Both beverages were delightful. The mint lemonade was refreshing and aromatic, while the mocha frappuccino offered a creamy, indulgent contrast — an ideal pairing for the warm coastal setting. 9/10
Service
Service was warm and attentive throughout. A minor error in food delivery was handled with professionalism and a sincere apology, reflecting the staff’s genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. 8/10
Ambiance
Espadín boasts a breathtaking location, set atop a cliffside overlooking the ocean. The interior is elegant and serene, with a tasteful mix of natural textures and local design elements. The ambiance alone makes it worth a visit. 9/10
Price
Considering the exceptional quality of ingredients, presentation, and overall experience, pricing is more than fair. This is fine dining without pretension.

Read moreWe arrived there an 45 mins early for our reservation. This was the only night we wanted to dress up and go someplace nice to enjoy the sunset with the family. We were all looking forward and arrived 45 mins early. Our table was way in the back when we made our reservation the day before. There were so many empty tables but they keep saying there for reservation. We asked what the difference was from ours to someone else's? Needless to say the hostess said she would be able to accommodate a better table should things move around before our reservation time so we decided to wait we all got drinks and waited . At 6:30 we went back up to be seated and they gave our table away!!!!! We're with two kids who are hungry by this point. We arrived promptly you tell us to wait so you can accommodate us all to just give our table away? This place from what I hear the food is flavorless as a customer sitting down heard everything that went on and felt for us.. said your not missing anything but the view! So we left! I'm sure it's worth a try for the view but we went to Filamena who has 5.0 stars and no bad reviews. On tasteless food and terrible customer service!...
Read moreWORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I went to spend the day at Carrizalito Beach and booked there for lunch in advance. We took the stairs that led to the restaurant from the beach to only find at the top that this access is exclusive for the hotel clients. The door was open but they still escorted us out and made us go down and up again through the other stairs. A sign at the bottom of the stairs would help. After all those steps under the sun we felt unwell resulting in us falling on a massive puddle of mud that they had at the door of their space entrance.
When we walked in we had to face the most heartless attitude from the staff. They didn’t allow us to use the swimming pool showers and once we were done getting cleaned in the toilet’s sink (took us over 30 minutes because we were head to toe covered in mud) we headed back to the restaurant. They complaint about us hanging our clothes where one of the staff members told us to and they had no compassion whatsoever.
Food was not worth the hype, the griller octopus was burned and therefore tasteless. Views are great, but I really hope that the management rethinks the way their team...
