This is by far the best restaurant in Mexico. Hands down. I only went there because I had time to kill while waiting for my bus to Mexico City. I was not well dressed (but I should've been) and they treated me like a princess anyway. This food was so exquisitely prepared that I was shocked. I ordered the avocado salad and was served a plate of the most beautiful, fresh, heirloom lettucei have ever seen. It was accompanied by an entire avocado, thinly sliced; and a huge pile of Oaxaca cheese. I couldn't believe my eyes, my mouth, and my stomach. Read moreNot cheap but a great breakfast in this very busy restaurant, a real haven opposite the ADO Terminal. Very quick efficient service in a sort of 60s USA Diner type of atmosphere. They allowed us in with large rucksacks and we had a great breakfast there. Would recommend it, but please note that we were offered sweet cakes in baskets when we sat down. We assumed that this was complimentary. We were wrong. They later charged us for the rolls. I suggested that they should have told us in advance that there would be a charge, but whether they change this practice, who knows? Even so, I would go back...
Read moreIf you like elaborate service and good food, this is for you. We go there when we crave american food, like the generous cheeseburger platter. Portions are huge. Salads are done well. I love their limonada, but on request, you can get a good whiskey soda. We were very pleased by the basket of variety breads, baked in house, especially the onion foccaci and the herbed grissini.
