The best tlayudas in Oaxaca without a doubt. I stayed in Oaxaca for 2 weeks and I’m writing this on my 4th visit - had to get one last in before I leave! The tlayudas are jam packed with ingredients and stringy, delicious quesillo. I only at the falda de costilla and the meat was tender and juicy. They do make it with Manteca (pork talo) so they can be a bit on the greasy side - but that’s also probably part of the amazing taste. They’re huge so (sometimes) you’ll have enough for left overs. And the salsas are all the die for, so thank goodness their generous with their servings of it. You’ll see mostly locals eating here (except during day of the dead) which is always a good sign. Service can be a little slow and the waiters are young boys who are hustling to keep up with crowds but can be a little forgetful - hence the 4 stars. BUT the food is worth...

We loved this place last year, but our experience in 2023 was very different. The tlayuda de costilla wasn't nearly as tasty as previously, also the salsas were bland. But the worst part was the service, our server didn't bring the beer I ordered (in Spanish) and didn't return to our table once after taking our order. I tried to get her attention while she delivered beers to other tables but was ignored. When we went to pay she encouraged me to tip, which I reluctantly did even though she didn't deserve it. That being said, we...

Hands down one of the best places for tlayudas in Oaxaca. We did a 2 meat combo tlayuda with costillas de falda and chapulines - it was amazing! There is plenty of cheese and they grill the tlayuda until its nice and crisp, dorado, everytime! Each order comes with grilled onions and chapiche, a fresh herb that brightens up the food. The salsas are excellent, especially the salsa negra. They also have craft beers & good house mezcal. The owners are also super nice. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a...
