So happy we gave this place a chance! We were initially put off a bit by all the cream cheese in the rolls on the menu, but they were happy to leave it out upon request. We ended up visiting numerous times during our 5 night stay in PE after discovering their Sushi of the Day specials (based on whatever the fresh catch is, usually tuna or mahi mahi). Our personal favorite was the Mexican inspired tuna special with fresh tuna, avocado, mango, black sesame seeds, chopped cilantro, roe, and a special mayo like sauce accompanied by their house made lime and jalapeño infused soy sauces. SO GOOD. The karage chicken was also very good if there are people in your party not too keen on fish.

The vibe is very nice and right on the beach with a casual open air feel. There are chaise lounges, tables and chairs, booths etc as well as some beds which are a bit odd but I guess that’s beach life for ya!

The service is great and quick, and the manager spent a few years in Laguna Beach so speaks perfect English and is very friendly. We will miss this place and those sushi rolls...

They gave me food poisoning. Possibly salmonella from rotten tuna. I ordered a spicy tuna roll and was surprised when it didn't look anything like a spicy tuna roll I've had in the past. Instead of a nice red color it was lumps of grey tuna with hot sauce dolloped on top. It didn't look great, or taste that great but i ate it anyway because it cost $110 pesos and i didn't think a restaurant would risk giving someone bad fish. I was wrong. Later that night i started experiencing diarrhea, fever, and back pain. All of which are symptoms of salmonella. It's now been 24 how's later and I'm still sick. I do not recommend going here at the risk of getting sick and ruining...

One of the standout features of this sushi bar was the location - it was situated right on the ocean and offered breathtaking views of the sunset. I would highly recommend visiting at sunset time, as the view is truly spectacular and adds an extra element of magic to the dining experience.

The prices at this sushi bar were also very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the food and the stunning location. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this sushi bar and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great sushi and a...

Anyone here who said the sushi was good... Never ate sushi in their life... If you live here and this is the only place you can eat sushi, I feel bad for you and you can't compare with REAL sushi. Eat a ceviche from other location because I would rather eat tuna with mayonnaise then pay for this. And for the teriyaki dish... They just dumped soy sauce and sugar. I recommend buying your own teriyaki sauce and ask them to not use theirs.
