Johnny D Burger — Restaurant in Playa del Carmen

I visited Johnny D burger place. I want to note that the burgers and fries are really tasty — juicy, made with good ingredients, and everything was well prepared. The atmosphere of the place is also nice.

But I was very upset by the illustration used in the design. In my opinion, it is a direct reference to Jesus Christ — the characteristic pose and the pierced hands clearly indicate that. For me, this looks like blasphemy and it spoils the overall impression of the place.

It’s a pity that such a strong negative point overshadows the good quality of the food. It would be great if the owners reconsidered using...

They are ok, I ordered the mushroom burger with double meat. A little disappointed since I was told the meat was amazing, however I got two slices, two pieces of meat thin thin, they are very thin to make a hamburger and they were burnt on the borders so not the best taste on the first bites but once I got the middle the flavor was great.

If they could better their cooking times their hamburgers would be amazing!!! Thin but amazing!!

Service was great and atmosphere too, just need to fix...

Comida: La carne de hamburguesa le llaman smash, aplastada, son 2 muy delgadas como una tostada. Pero 1,quedan fritas/asadas carbonizadas (dañino a la salud) en las orillas y grasosas. 2.- La carne Sobresale del pequeño pan, primero, comes orillas de carne y luego el centro de hamburguesa. Un poco batido desaseado. 3.- La carne aplastada ya no tiene sabor ni jugo, cartón o crujiente le llaman en el lugar. Servicio: Nos interesó preguntar a la encargada, que dijo ser la dueña, si es que se había pasado de cocción la carne, Nos interrumpió, no quiso escuchar.Explicó la idea de sus hamburguesas. -Oiga y no podrían hacerlas menos aplastadas? -No, habrá a quien le guste y a quien no. -Pues a nosotros no nos gustan -Pues no regrese... WUAU. Independientemente de que así sea la idea del negocio, esta persona podría ser un poquito émpatica con el cliente. Muy mala impresión. Ambiente: Desafortunadamente aquí la situación también es mala... 1,- al llegar el local olía a desodorante de baño. 2.- Las mesas son demasiado altas y las sillas demasiado estrechas, los tubos encajan en la cadera. No somos gordos, tiene uno que sentarse de "a media nalga". Resumen: No piensamos volver ni lo recomendamos. No es un lugar acogedor ni por la atención personal ni por el mobiliario. Y lo principal la hamburguesa de $200 la más sencilla no está rica. Una lástima para un negocio que empieza y no sabe...
