I have celiac disease and found this place online, which had many great reviews. I can't figure out why. At first I was told I could only have the vegetable fajitas but upon questioning what made any type of meat not gluten free, they changed the answer so that I could have beef fajitas. The beef was under seasoned, the vegetables overcooked and smothered in oil, the rice underdone, the beans just tasted foul, and apparently they think four tortillas is enough for 1 person. Also I ordered a drink that never came and had ordered 2 sets of guacamole, one with chips and 1 with tortillas since I couldn't have the chips due to my celiac disease (not their fault) but then they only brought one guac, and took away my extra tortillas. I did like the guac which is made at the table, and they did only bill us for what they brought. The atmosphere was quieter than some of the other restaurants, but then street performers interrupted our dinner several times. I was with three other people and no one was impressed with their food either. Do not recommend especially if you have...
Read moreThis restaurant was reccomended from a server at another hotel we stayed at last week and although reviews aren’t great, we decided to go. After we sat down, we waited about 15mins to have someone come by and take our order. We ordered some beer and our dinner. it took another 15 mins to get drinks. And there was some weird guy in a white shirt( maybe a manager) who kept staring at us funny and he was super creepy. And then another 45 mins to get our meal. Food was pretty good but not great. After I asked for the bill, they wanted to add a 20% tip and I said no tip. The waiter argued with me and got really upset asking why. I told him that it doesn’t take an hour + to get our food plus he didn’t come by to offer us a second drink. He then argued that he should get 5-10% tip. I said no tip, your service is really bad. Anyways, I hope this doesn’t happen to...
Read moreHorrible place, food is OK, but when the check shows up, be prepared to be obligated to pay a 25 - 30% tip. Any place in which I can't decide my own amount to tip, I will never visit again. Plenty of nice authentic restaurants to eat at, so avoid this one. Also, the music is way too loud to be able to hear your dinner company. Edit: Initially, we tried to pay by card, but because the waiter wouldn't change the tip, we wanted to pay cash and just leave the cash we wanted to pay. We did however, hold the phone with contactless payment function too close to the PIN machine, apparently. Two days later we found out that they charged our Mastercard $ 4.600 MXN. And later when we asked to pay cash, we paid them an additional $ 4.300 MXN... there's no way he wouldn't have seen the OK on the PIN machine and still let us pay the...
