McDonald's — Restaurant in Playa del Carmen

I can't begin to explain. I had just arrived in a rental chevy from Cozumel Island, my girlfriend at my side in a honeymoon after 8 years without. I started driving north as I looked on google maps before leaving the hotel and saving them offline so that I wouldn't depend on a service I couldn't rely on. Just my girlfriend, my skills and I.

(By the way, she told me I looked sexy while driving a manual... there's something sexy about your shifting, she said, and I felt 20 years younger).

I get to 110. Speed limit of 80. I know I'm speeding, no matter which units. I've driven 100 mph/160kph for so many hours... It always felt like home to me.

And then I got lost.

To make a long story short, thanks to the McDs associate from Playa Del Carmen, Quintana Roo, México, I understood where we were and his recommendation of going to Tulum instead of Xochimilco... My man, you're awesome.

We also enjoyed their special breakfast combo. Nice Mexican touch to...

I am in this McDonald's as I write. We ordered two breakfast meals: Sausage Mcmuffin, hashbrown, coffee. Our sausage muffins sat on the counter for over 1/2 an hour before one of the coffees was ready. At that point, I was told that they didn't have any hashbrowns, that they had given us double sausage instead. When I said that I don't like double sausage, suddenly they had two hashbrowns to cook. They asked us to sit at a table so others wouldn't see, and they would bring them out. After I said I didn't like the service, the manager did give us a free orange juice. We still didn't have the 2nd coffee. Then I noticed that there was only one sausage patty on each, by now, cold muffin.... so they lied to me as well. This is not the first time the service has been terrible here.

I am writing to formally complain about the unacceptable customer service I recently experienced at your McDonald's location. During my visit, the staff's behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful. They yelled at my mother, a paying customer, and made rude remarks. This is entirely unacceptable. Furthermore, after we placed our order for a hamburger, we were told there would be a ten-minute wait. While a short wait is sometimes understandable, the staff's attitude had already made us frustrated. My frustration compounded when, after the wait, we received the wrong order. To add insult to injury, when we finally received the correct hamburger, it was cold. This entire experience was extremely disappointing, and I left feeling deeply dissatisfied. I would not recommend this particular McDonald's...
