This place is definitely worth stepping away from 5th Ave, for a memorable dining experience, great tasting food and friendliest staff. Thank you so much for the wonderful evening. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with very friendly staff members. Yes, "staff members" in plural. It’s obvious and remarkable how they all pitch in and ensure that customers are served with the utmost care. We were looking for a place that wouldn't break the bank to have a nice steak meal. Mia’s HomeMade has now become our favorite new restaurant that we will definitely visit again. We ordered the Bruschetta as a shared appetizer, it was very fresh, warm, tasty, drizzled with balsamic glaze and parmesan. The special was a generous 500 g porterhouse steak (best meat in PDC from Sonora region, cooked to perfection, exactly as we had asked, medium rare), served with fresh grilled veggies and mashed potatoes, and 2 glasses of red wine for only $400 pesos. They brought us a complimentary Tiramisu dessert which melted in the mouth. With such a pleasant experience, we will definitely be back, we've heard they serve the beast Burritos. Thank you and congratulations on great customer service, very pleasant atmosphere and great tasting food and presentation. We were so "wowed" when the main meal (Porter house) arrived that we forgot to take a...
Read moreMIA'S HOMEMADE!! We were first-time diners here tonight. What a delight it was. We saw other reviews and media on the Internet and decided to try it out. We were met by two extremely friendly waiters, Elio and Lucas. They were personable and eager to take care of our needs plus they both spoke very good English. We had the ribeye steak and the prime rib. They were on special and served with a glass of wine. All I can say is WOW! The steaks were thinner than we are used, which was not a bad thing. They were extremely flavorful and cooked exactly how we ordered them. Both entrees were served with a side of garlic flavored mashed potatoes and the prime rib had arugula and cherry tomatoes on top. Sautéed vegetables accompanied the Ribeye. After visiting with Elio and Lucas, they brought out one of the owners and chef, Carlos. He was an extremely accommodating host. We visited with this pleasant Italian-American transplant for 30 minutes and were quite impressed. Great food, excellent service, good wine, attentive chef, good location and very reasonable prices. What more could you ask for. We will...
Read moreUpdate 2025 January. My first review below 2 years ago . A few changes . Steak dinner special still on . Less Italian on menu . Burger specials , 3 burgers for price of 2 . Family size burritos. Personally right now , I’d say they got the best pizza in pdc and I’m super into pizza here . Always top quality ingredients. Light crispy crust . I’m blown away . Pre roasted vegetables on the vegetarian pizza , little details like that separate you from the rest post below from 2 years ago.
. Happy to have found this spot ! From Vancouver. I I love Italian . Their head chef is from Rome and he makes everything from scratch! So reasonably priced and all delicious. Home made lasagna was outstanding for mexico . I was blown away . Even better than that was a steak dinner with mashed potatoes and julienned vegetables. Coming from canada we get pretty excellent beef 🥩 so I was really happy with this place. I’ve done breakfast also . They’ve got their own pastry chef too. Can’t say enough about this place . But I’ll end here since it feels like I’m writing a book 😆. Your well looked after here ! Gotta go lay...
