First of all, I want to say that the service is amazing.

However, the food...

AWFUL!

The buffet hot options were cold and dried out.

The ravioli was horrendous, just dry and grainy. The spinach panko balls were dry - like licking sand. Bruschetta! Omg, you guys need to look up what bruscetta actually is!! The pizza was bland.

The salad part of the buffet was nice but I'd recommend everyone the hot starters.

The main... we both ordered chicken milanese. It was bland and like eating shop bought generic instant noodles with a sad excuse for mushroom sauce, and the mushrooms had a weird chemically taste to them.

Desserts were OK.

Management genuinely need to try the food to see what's going wrong. Italian food is simple food to cook but this restaurant isn't even achieving the basics.

This is an ALL inclusive resort restaurant. It's just shy of gourmet. Has Ceasar salad, Fresh cold and crisp, The big provolone cheese wheel is right there.To scoop an ad to your salad or dish... Carpaccio and a great fresh acoutriments buffet is a plus. it's good quality. The entrees are good, but the Chicken Milanese is the closest thing to a good Italian dish experience.. It's good and included with your stay. Having said that, it's way better than the steak or the mexican restaurant on RIU Tequila... All the employees are friendly and the overall experience.Is great... It's just that this is what it is... And equivalent to the Iberostar Queztal next door... two great places on...

It was one of our best meals at the resort! Gustavo provided excellent service! He was attentive, friendly, nice and made sure we were enjoying our meal. It is a full course meal where the appetizers, bread, soup/salad and dessert are buffet style. We all ordered the salmon and had a nice selection of appetizers and bread.
