El Zedro's — Restaurant in Puebla

Very overrated and expensive for the quality of food and service. Despite that we were the only guests on Tuesday evening, they didn’t get anything right. The melted cheese was served cold along with cold tortillas. The mains were lacking of taste and quality. The lady that is the manager walked by our table many times without once asking if we were enjoying or any care at all. Service was slow and no motivation. Delicious! The atmosphere is a little dated bu still beautiful. The service was perfect, we didn't feel ignored or babysat. But the food was amazing. I had a steak in Tamarindo sauce. Tender and amazing, a little sweet, could have used a bit of spice, but still delicious. My daughter had the salmon in mango sauce and that was fantastic. Un punto negativo por que los manteles de las mesas no son blancos. Considero que un restaurante de la categoría a la que aspira "El Zedro's" debe tener vasos apropiados para todo tipo de bebidas que puedan requerir los comensales, punto negativo que la cerveza la sirvan en un vaso genérico. La pasta estaba demasiado cocida, no al dente, lo cual denota falta de experiencia por parte del chef. Es un lugar elegante atrapado en los 80s por su decoración. Creo que tiene potencial para mejorar si los dueños invirtieran para renovarlo.
