El Inicio — Restaurant in Puerto Morelos

Fabulous late night meal with friends. Nachos were perfect especially with an ice cold coke.

What makes El Inicio fabulous are the chef and his team. Wonderful people working together. And working with the patrons.

We were fortunate to be a part of the karaoke night and everyone was singing, including the chef! The vibe was awesome.

As the night wore on everyone was singing together, harmonies sung by seated people, clapping and whistling. It was an exceptional experience.

It all began over delicious nachos and a cold coke.

The gentleman seated to my right had the rack of ribs and he said he never brings home leftovers but he packed out those ribs.

We had a club sandwich and eggs Benedict. Club sandwich was good, and my partner appreciated that he could add extra chicken for a modest cost. I had eggs Benedict which although was quite tasty, wasn't eggs Benedict, so wasn't what I wanted/expected. The eggs and bread were as should be, no ham and the sauce was (I asked what was in it) a 3 cheese sauce, not hollandaise. I was craving eggs Benedict so I was disappointed. Google maps menu says $80 for Benedict, the menu in the restaurant said ?$110 I think, and they unexpectedly charged me $80, without me mentioning the Google maps menu. Overall seems a nice place, good friendly service, disappointed about the not...

This was our first time eating here but wont be our last. The atmosphere is super cute and you get to watch the chef cook for you while you wait. Yes I said chef. He does an amazing job very professional. The owner and family are so sweet and make your visit special. The food was super good. We ate the ribs and alfredo. The ribs are baby back Americano style with very good bbq sauce, the corn is grilled to perfection, and the seasoning on the fries is amazing. I can't say enough about how we enjoyed eating here. The prices are perfect and the food is phenomenal. Must try. I can't wait to eat...
