Alquimia Bar — Restaurant in Querétaro

I felt completely ripped off at this place and I never want to go back! Tasted some awful mezcal that the bar tender insisted was great for a price of $150 pesos per shot. The place was packed and the waiter insisted that he had space in the back for our group of four. He placed our drinks in-between two tables on the side of the tiny room. We were literally squeezed in some random place. Didn't feel comfortable and wanted to leave. Tried to leave him a small tip $40 pesos because of the awkwardness but I guess he tried. He insisted that I double it because he was not taking any less than 10%.

I was shocked. Since when is it mandatory in MEXICO to tip? Tip should be optional and reflect quality service. Tipping is not required. The drinks are very expensive and I thought it included service. After being disgusted with the man, we tipped and left. Do not...

This was without doubt the worst service I've ever had in any bar or restaurant in Mexico. The sign outside said "free pizza" - the miserable bar man didn't offer any information - despite the fact I spoke Spanish. He then spent most of his time on his iPhone on Facebook and seemed disgruntled when I asked him for another drink. I then discovered that several bars down Calle 5 de Mayo also have utterly miserable, nonchalant staff - maybe it's something in the agua. Ya finalmente quedo todo resuelto tanto con ustedes como con el banco....

Como no se hizo en el tiempo regular y se atravesó el corte de mes con el banco tomó más tiempo de lo normal el qué todo se viera reflejado. En el banco me dijeron que regularmente estos movimientos se hacen o se deben hacer dentro de los 10 días subsecuentes a la operación, en este caso fue hecho 14 dias después, lo que retraso el qué estuviera reflejado casi 40 días de la fecha de la operación. COBRARON DOS VECES LA CUENTA, argumentando qué la comunicación de la terminal no es estable, para cuando me di cuenta ya habían pasado dos o tres días, fui al bar y no había nadie qué pudiera atenderme, me dieron un número para llamar y de tardaron más de 10 días en atender el teléfono, vía Whatsapp me contacto el encargado del lugar, la verdad es que suuuuuper amable pero después de 14 días de mensajes no más no le dan respuesta los administradores para hacer la devolución, el banco no puede realizar la devolución por que en ambas transacciones yo ingrese mi codigo y no hay un folio de cancelación de transacción o de transacción fallida y si el "dueño" de Alquimia por este medio dijo que ya se estaba atendiendo pero... NOOOOO!!!!... Atenderlo es hacer la devolución de lo que SE COBRARON DOBLE, tomar acción no es responder esta reseña. SON TRAMPOSOS, ABUSIVOS Y...
