Argentilia Querétaro — Restaurant in Querétaro

We came here at 5pm not knowing they would shut at 6. The waiter we had went out of his way to help us with everything. The food on the other hand was not that great we ordered the provolone, it was great. I ordered the rack of lamb. It was nice and came out just warm, my partner ordered a rib eye, it came out cold so we sent it back, they came back out with it 5 minutes later and it was obvious it was the same steak just cooked again, so by this time the steak was over cooked, so we told the waiter. It came out a 3rd time and was great. Just took forever. At 6:05 they turned all the bar lights off and made us feel very unwelcome like they were trying to get us out. Overall I...

The best -- and apparently only -- place for Argentinian steaks in historic Queretaro. I had to walk about a kilometer to get there from my hotel, but it was worth it. The steaks are the big draw, and the service is very attentive. If I could change one thing, it would be to eliminate the obnoxious American rock and dance music pumped loudly into the dining room. It really detracts from an otherwise pleasant atmosphere. Someone needs to pay more attention to the music...

Double the price for half the quality if compared to other Queretaro restaurants of the same level. We ordered their "special" steak sold by the pound at 13 dollars every 4 ounces, but what we got was just an ordinary steak not even half the size it should have been and tasting like any other cut available at other much cheaper places. Believe it or not, the 55 dollar steak did not even include French fries which we had to pay separately at 6 dollars a portion....
