AirMargaritaville — Restaurant in Quintana Roo

I decided to stop by for lunch before a long flight, I arrived with my baby and husband and we sat at a table that was on the edge (for our comfort with the baby) suddenly the hostess came to tell us how many we were, she scared me because she arrived without even introducing herself, she just arrived with a rude attitude so she asked that and although it was obvious I answered 3, and she asked me to come with her, I asked her the reason why we had to move table if I was OK there, I had a baby and she said she had another table for us, and it was basically the table next to us, I swear, less than a meter away, in the same line and position. Obviously that infuriated us, and we were about to leave the restaurant because her attitude was really horrible, luckily the waitress arrived who was very attentive and kind. Then we realised that she (the hostess) did the same with every customer that arrived, some with their bags already seated and she went to move them. Anyway.... the food was very tasty, the coffee hot...

When we arrived the restaurant was EMTY, still the hostess Aranza wanted to seat us right next to the kitchen (that had a strong smell of food) we told her we wanted to be further away from the entrance to have a nicer view and no smell, still they insisted until said we would not sit there. Aranza went and threw the menus in another table, we had to pick them up and sit where we wanted. Got the impression the servers didn't want to walk more than 3 steps to serve a table. The margaritas where good, still such a shame the bad service! We watched another family with the same issue as us, they got up and walked away, threw a comment our way about them not wanting to give service The waitresses where laughing and being very loud you can tell there is no manager/owner or anyone who cares around! With more than 4/5 of the restaurant EMTY, they should care more about costumers and being welcoming,...

My recent visit to AirMargaritaville left me disappointed. Upon arriving, we asked our first waiter if we needed to wait to be seated or if we could sit down at a table for 4 since there were 2 of us, and we were expecting another person. The waiter told us we could sit anywhere, as they weren't busy. However, as we started to settle at a table for 4 (with our two bags each), another waiter rushed over and insisted we move to a table for 2. We tried to explain that we were waiting for one more person, but the waiter was adamant—if it’s only two people, we must sit at a table for two. There was no attempt to understand or accommodate our situation. Frustrated, we decided to leave and take our business elsewhere down the hallway.
