a nice place for a resort for sure. You need reservations so that you are not stuck in the line for hours. The service is a tad slow but they did a good job getting us started on appetizers and food. We were a party of 10, so a bit of a wait to get going. Sushi was good, miso soup was mediocre and the fish was fresh and very flavorful. They also have a hibachi grill that we tried on a different day. overall, must try! Editing to add the hibachi grill experience. The Hibachi experience comes with a sushi starter that was a great touch. Our chef Efrain was entertaining and cooked a really good meal. Shrimp, chicken and steak were cooked to perfection. Certainly a great experience.

Probably one of the better and more unique restaurants at Planet Hollywood! However, during April the Tappanyaki show was not available - so rather a let down. There was also about a 2h wait, a group of 4 was ready around 730, and waited till about 930 to enter, meaning only 30min left of dining. April wasn't even peak season, can't imagine about busy months. The rolls, soups, and mains were real good and well prepared. They come in rather small portions, so be prepared to order a bit more to share right off the bat.

The food is absolutely good, full of flavor and fresh of course... I enjoyed the one in Costa Rica 🇨🇷.. The chef is so skillful and it was a great experience. The attention is absolutely amazing. There is a dress code to enter but nothing out of the world. I enjoyed a lot in this place. A must visit if you stay in Planet Hollywood.

East Sushi & Teppanyaki was no better. The only reservation we could get all week was for four people, even though there were five of us. Our butler told us to make the booking and just add in the comments that we were five. So we did exactly that. We show up, and of course—they say they can’t seat us because it’s only booked for four. Apparently, no one actually reads the comments. And who shows up again? The same useless manager from the steakhouse. And again—no help, no effort, no care. Just another night ruined, and guess where we ended up again?...
