Great food, but a little underwhelming! We were seated quickly when we arrived, Drinks order was taken promptly, then our food order shortly after. There was a fabulous Mexican style salad bar, although strangely not a single jalapeño in sight to feast on before main courses. The nachos were nice (albeit missing jalapeños) with the fresh salad, salsa, and sauces. We waited what felt like an hour to be served our main course, we had Yucatan pork, which came in flour tortillas, but would have been much nicer with rice. We also tried the prawn burrito and the enchiladas (which were drowning in sauce). The atmosphere was lacking, with tables being entertained by their waiter or themselves, while we were pretty much ignored by ours. Read moreWe were fortunate enough to be able to squeeze in a few dishes at La Adelita, a Mexican à la carte restaurant at Grand Palladium Colonial Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Unfortunately, we were in a bit of a rush and missed the main dishes. Jaime, our waiter was super helpful and patient with us. He tried his best to get our dishes out as soon as possible. We had Red Fish Ceviche and Beef Tzik to start. For our soups we had Lime Soup and Tortilla Soup. The appetizers were tasty and the main dishes seemed just as promising. Currently Las Olas beach bar is converted into La Adelita in the evening so you get a beautiful view...
