Pantera HX — Restaurant in Quintana Roo

First we got take away - guacamole and shrimp tacos. They both were really really good and we enjoyed the meal a lot. Therefore we decided to go back the next day for a cocktail on the rooftop and some dinner.

First, it was empty and I still have to wait for my cocktail for 30min. Then we ordered an entree - cheese with a salad and nuts. Optically it was great but the taste was pretty plain. Then we had risotto and grilled octopus. The presentation of both dishes was really good. The risotto rice was overcooked and the taste was sandy and bitter. The octopus was like a chewing gum. We didn’t even finish our food. Then we sat there but no one came to collect our dishes. We just went to the front, paid and left.

We were really disappointed after the first evenings great food. If it would not have been for that food I would have given less stars. Also, we don’t mind paying for good food but I really wish that we had walked to the next taco place. We would have paid less than half of the price and had...

This hotel is amazing!!! We consider it our second home now!! The design, the rooms, the pools, the restaurant, the whole atmosphere is magical and so romantic. But the people is what makes this place, the staff is incredible, they treated us like family from day one, we stayed 2 weeks here. The chef is amazing, he is from Guadalajara, the restaurant personnel Dante and Antonio are exceptional, very kind and they do everything to please you as a guest. The front desk personnel is equally exceptional, Beti and Ani were just so sweet and helpful in every way, with directions, recommendations, they have the solution to every question. We will take this place in our hearts and treasure these wonderful people and the memories we created with them forever. We recommend this hotel to everyone, once you come here you will not want to go anywhere else. Thank you Beti, Ani, Dante and Antonio for a magical and unforgettable time you created for us!!!...

The food and the ambiance are simply amazing at this restaurant!! It is open to everyone (so no need to be a guest at the hotel) and you can choose to sit at their beautiful garden (decorated with lights) or try their rooftop terrace!!!

Tip: A lot of people don't know you can request to sit on the rooftop! So don't be shy and just ask them. The view is gorgeous.

Also the food is AMAZING. One of the best in the island.

Their lobster Pizza was also amazing and their drinks are delicious. Their meat/fish tacos were a must!!

We highly recommend eating here atleast once...
