La Cabane, Pizza y Pasta — Restaurant in Quintana Roo

Fantastic place. We went here for breakfast, lunch and dinner during both days on the island.

This restaurant is a great example of how quality food, a friendly service and reasonable pricing will bring customers back every day! Opposed to many other places who just overcharge for bad food thinking that tourists will only stop by once anyway.

La Cabane has convinced us with amazing pizza (easily in my all time top 10) and friendly staff.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all great quality and tasty. I would recommend this place to anyone and hope La Cabana doesn't fall into the greed trap, but continues to provide great food at reasonable prices.

At last, I was hoping and expecting to find more of these places on Holbox. Unfortunately there's not too many. The luckier we are that La Cabane exists and provided a great place to eat and drink during our stay...

1/25/2023 - This restaurant is not “European cuisine” like Google says. It is actually two restaurants side-by-side. One is ONLY pizza, the other is a TAQUERIA, which basically means tacos and sandwiches.

I ate at the taqueria. The service was friendly and fast and the food tasted good, not great.

In the end they tried to scam me on the bill with an extra item added on but I caught it and they said “Whoopsy”. Yeah right. They also charged 3% extra to pay with credit card which is also annoying and they didn’t say up front.

The restaurant is directly across from a major construction site so when I went at 6:00-7:00 pm it was nothing but drills and power tools for ambiance.

This was my first restaurant experience on the island and I must say it made me nervous as they clearly set a tone of taking advantage of tourists.

Oh woow, don't know where to start. It's awesome here😊 I've been here for 2x breakfast and 2x dinner. For dinner I had a Pizza and this bread slice you can see at the pictures. The pizza is super delicious and handmade. I was even able to see how they made my pizza and put it into the wood oven. I've had the pizza Mexicana and asked for olives which they put additional on the pizza. The taste was awesome and I wish I could eat more. Every time the service was outstanding and I was happy to give some tips:) In my point of view the quality and price ratio is outstanding good!

The breakfast was exactly from the same quality in food and service and I think it's an awesome way to start the day at La Cabane. I would say it's a hidden gem and definitely worth at least...
