What a hidden gem in La Veleta! I stumbled upon this place on Instagram and I'm so glad we did. Such a good vibe rooftop- the music was great and there's also a smaller pool that you can use. On Mondays they have salsa & bachata nights & on Sunday it's a burger special with free beer. Hugo and the staff are so kind and attentive! We ordered drinks which were reasonably priced and have such unique mixtures! Camaleon Cubano & Conejo Malo cocktails are 10/10! For food we got Elote, chilangas for starters- all were so tasty! Then as a main we got the beef burger- let me tell you- it was sooooo good! Flavourful, thicker (not smash burger!!) and juicy-probably the best burger we've had in Tulum (and we've had many here)! I celebrated my 31st birthday at Camaleón Tulum Rooftop on April 17, 2025, and it was so perfect that we came back again on our last night in Tulum! From start to finish, everything was incredible. This bar in Tulum is a hidden gem! They serve craft cocktails and food, all accompanied by a chill vibe and a fantastic DJ. The night was made even more special by a talented dance instructor who elevated the atmosphere with remarkable dance moves—I'm not sure if he’s there every night, but he truly made the evening unforgettable. While the road to get there is a bit rough—perhaps due to construction?—it’s well worth the journey.
