Guys- you’re on vacation. You can do much better than here. You owe it to yourselves. The good: the only spot in this area open early in the morning serving hot coffee and food. The bad: the food and service. It attached photo looks good but trust me, it was just ok. The coffee is great and much needed for our group. The food was overpriced basic items made to be “elevated” but with poor ingredients. The toasts are all on a “charcoal activated” slice of sourdough. The bread is room temperature and hard enough where fork and knifing can be a struggle. This might work better if they actually toasted the bread fresh on order. The croissant is not a flaky buttery croissant. It’s thick and a lot of dough and really chewy. Also served cold/room temp. There’s an item called a “Croffle” - a waffle croissant that sounded interesting - of which I asked for one, plain, and they gave me a regular croissant. The waitress apologized and said she didn’t understand me so instead of asking me to clarify she just brought out what she thought. We later saw them making an actual “croffle” and it turns out they just put a croissant on a waffle press. Go figure. for your reference: 1000 pesos ($60USD) got me 4 coffees, 2 toasts, 2 croissants and a yogurt bowl.

Cannot speak for the Dine-in experience, seems like there are a lot of customers so they are doing something right. That said, I cannot recommend ordering take-out. Our group ordered take-out and was very underwhelmed with our experience. The server said 15 minutes but it took almost an hour for them to prepare our order (2 Mexican toast, 1 salmon toast, 1 super toast, 1 mango bowl, 3 drinks). Granted, it was busy at the time. However, what we got was nowhere near what was on the photos in the menu, or even close to what we saw on photos here (photo of Mexican toast that we got - you can compare this photo with that of other reviews). Not pictured here, but mango bowl was small as well. On top of 10p per item ordered to go (okay, we felt this was reasonable), Server also asked for tip on this to-go order. Not sure, but our groups understanding was because we did not receive table service for to-go we wouldn’t need to tip (if we dined in we would happily tip). I’m sure other guests had a great time and had great food, but we did not with the long wait and underwhelming food that we received)

My favourite café in all of Tulum ! Had the pleasure of enjoying a few beautiful mornings at Me Latte Café and want to highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Tulum. The coffee is delicious, the food is very tasty and the staff/service is welcoming and super helpful. Our server Tania was amazing in accommodating my peanut/tree nut allergy AND spoke very good English. She also gave great local recommendations for beach clubs or places to visit during my stay. Thank you so much Tania! I enjoyed a beautiful açai bowl and sandwhich with ham, cheese, thinly sliced cucumber, and chipotle sauce service on a croissant. It was absolutely delicious. The açai was so fresh and ice cold. It was so refreshing. 5 stars all around and you have to visit here if you are visiting Tulum!

Me and my family went there for breakfast at 9:30 am. After noticing that all the tables were occupied, we ordered 4 toast, 3 drinks and a mango bowl to go. The waitress told us to wait outside (standing) and that it would take 15 minutes for the food to be ready. We ended up getting our food at 10:30 am after waiting while standing outside. We were only offered a seat when we went to them and asked them about our food next to an empty table. No one came to ask us if we needed anything for the whole time. We were just left by ourselves standing outside in the heat waiting for our food without an expectation. We watched as other customers came and got served their food before us even though we had ordered much earlier. When we asked for our food, the waitress replied that the food is coming out and we still had to wait for over 20 minutes after that point. When we paid for our food, the waitress pointed out that we haven’t paid any tip for our take-out order. We were all a bit shocked they asked for tip when we were ordering take-out and didn’t get any service. As for the food, we didn’t mind the over-priced menu as we understand we were in a tourist location. Taste and portion size was average and nothing special. Overall, this whole experience was very disappointing. If you are on a vacation, I would avoid this place and just treat yourself to something better that is worthy of your...
