I’m stumped by the glowing reviews. I ordered an Americano, which tasted like bad, bitter, strong coffee, not espresso at all. I had a fruit bowl which was… fine. Lots of diced apples which tasted a little odd with banana, cantaloupe and a tiny bit of papaya. I also ordered beans with an egg and asked for salsa. The beans were remarkably bland, the egg was fine and the salsa had no flavor or heat to it at all. I ordered a green juice which was good.
The bill was 30% - 50% higher than the same meal at any other breakfast cafe I’ve been to in San Miguel.

I believe the bread is made on site and very good, but should have been served with jam or marmalade and not just butter. Highly recommend...

The eggs were poached almost perfectly (let's face it, it's hard to get two perfect at the same time). The muffin was toasted enough to hold up to the plate of sauce it was slightly drowning in (maybe that is a local thing, and I'm not a local), the green beans could have been a tad more al dente (but maybe that is just me). My decaf latte...
