Burger House — Restaurant in San Miguel de Cozumel

We went to this place because our 3 year old had been begging for a veggie burger since we arrived in Mexico. We ordered and sat there for an hour and a half (no kidding) and no food. Other people who arrived after us were served, not us. We asked nicely after about an hour and 15 minutes if it would be much longer, and if we could have our check and our food to go. 15 minutes later we finally left. Everything is now closed and we are having to feed our children leftover granola bars for dinner. This was absolutely 100% racism. We couldn't have been more kind, but they treated us like garbage. The best burgers in cozumel for sure!!! You can come with all the family or by yourself and you will still feeling so welcome, the burgers are big and delicious it comes with fries 🍟 and refill ice Tea, the crew is so happy to serve you and so polite, the guy on the grill is the best (the boss) they have also a big menu if you want something different like steak 🥩 all the cuts, definitely a great place to visit if you're hungry for good food. It's a real shame when you think you've found a great place to eat and end up leaving the restaurant thinking you've been ripped off. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and there were no long waiting times. Everything was just right. But when the bill arrived, I was charged an additional $2 for the drink (Jamaica water), although it was clearly communicated to me in advance that the package price included the hamburger, fries and a drink. For me, this was not an oversight and a gesture along the lines of: "Oh a tourist is coming, let's give it a try". Too bad, because I would have liked to go there again...
