Galo Art Studio Art Cozumel — Attraction in San Miguel de Cozumel

I met Galo in 2017 during a scuba diving trip in Cozumel, and little did I know that encounter would lead to such a meaningful artistic journey. Since the pandemic in 2020, I’ve been taking weekly online art lessons with him, and it’s been one of the most enriching experiences of my life.

Galo is a truly exceptional instructor—patient, resourceful, passionate. generous and deeply knowledgeable across a wide range of artistic mediums. What stands out most is his genuine curiosity and excitement for my projects; he approaches each idea with the same enthusiasm I feel, which makes every session feel personalized and inspiring.

Under his guidance, I’ve explored charcoal, pastel, pencil, watercolor, and acrylic. My home is now graced with my own creations, and Galo and Niurka's beautiful art pieces. As a fellow scuba diver, it’s especially meaningful to bring ocean-themed paintings into my space—they’re a constant reminder of the beauty we’ve shared.
