LA Aldea is a place that we very much enjoyed during our extended stay here in Cozumel. This food is LEGIT! The price for what you get is UNBELIEVABLE! A shrimp torta costs only $55 pesos, or $2.75 U.S. The breaded fish tacos were delicious too, and only cost $29 pesos, or $1.45 U.S. With that said, I do suggest that when ordering, you make it absolutely clear what you want, and then make sure that is what you get. When I ordered fish tacos, for some reason shrimp tacos was written down on the ticket. I ate fish tacos, but when it came time to pay the bill, I noticed I was charged for shrimp tacos (a difference of $6 pesos each taco). Because the tacos had been eaten and shrimp is what was written down, shrimp is what was paid for that day. No big deal. The food was good and I would still recommend it.

This place is perfect to watch the sunset with drinks & dinner. The views are absolutely breathtaking. The staff here is extra friendly and attentive and all of the food and drinks come out fast. Try one of their classic margaritas, they’re pretty and tasty and also feel like four drinks in one. Had their steak fajitas for dinner and it was also super delicious. Dinner + drink per person including tip here is about $20. After sunset they bring out a DJ and it slowly turns into a a place of dancing. This place is a great seaside vibe and I’ll definitely be back. UPDATE: Came back two days later for dinner and got tacos. Wow this place continue to impress, I got shrimp, octopus and beef and wow those were some really good taco I’ve had in a while. Might come back for another round!

For me it’s the most beautiful place in San Miguel de Cozumel to eat, drink and enjoy the laid-back caribbean beach-feeling of the island. It’s located right at the beach and if you’re lucky you could even get a seat in the sand to bathe your feet in the warm water. They offer great breakfast, food and drinks for reasonable prices. Theres always relaxed latin/mexican music in the background and the staff is very friendly and alert. It’s also a great starting point to do snorkelling in the area, since the reef starts right in front of the place with lots of great sea life to observe. So don’t forget to bring your equipment! And if you want to enjoy the beautiful sunset on the island, along with a cold drink, there’s no better place on Cozumel than this one!

What a beautiful setting just steps from the turquois sea. We were welcomed with a smile by Luciano and he was always there in a flash if we needed anything. $2 Tecate Lights, $2 grilled garlic shrimp tacos (absolutely perfect!) and complimentary chips and salsa. There's snorkeling right in front but we didn't try that yet. The people I asked said there was lots of fish to see. We are here for a month in Cozumel and we are so happy we found this little gem within a short walk of our condo. This will be our home bar while we are here because it totally fits out vibe. Not too busy, great prices, jaw dropping view, great food and wonderful service. We are heading back there after working from "home" today to snorkel and eat. I may even try the night snorkeling tonight. So happy to have found this place! Give them a...
