My goodness.... After being at Fat Fish 3 out of the 4 previous nights without any nehaiincidents whatsoever (the ribs really are quite good), I decided to order the French Onion Soup and Steak Tacos to change things up a little...As we were sitting outside, the waiter provided us with an ashtray, as he had the 3 previous visits...We had a cigarette each and the 95 peso soup arrived without an actual spoon...No problemo...I stirred it with my fork , and all it consisted of was some chicken broth, raw onion, and 3 cubes of Oaxaca cheese....I explained to the waiter that this wasn't what I was expecting, and the manager/owner came over and asked what the problem was. I suggested that this wasn't actually French Onion Soup, and his response was...It's not actually supposed to be French Onion Soup. Seriously????...I told him that I simply didn't want it then as I was hoping for you know.... actual French Onion Soup.....I guess that was a bit much, as they removed the soup from the table, the manager told me I still had to pay for it , as I ordered it, and he also pulled the ashtray....as it was now a no smoking area, and he walked away......Okay, wow!.......Go at your own risk.... Apparently the customers opinion doesn't really matter, even if I didn't actually eat any of the soup....The servers were wonderful, stating that they didn't really understand, and that this isn't the first time the manager has responded this way..I can't believe this guy actually has a job ...GO...
Read moreFood and service were great, well-priced, and delicious. BE AWARE OF THE SCAMMER TRYING TO SELL TIMESHARES TO CUSTOMERS!! This creepy man approached us after we finished eating with the demeanor of a manager (asking how our meal was, where we’re from, etc.) but then started asking us if we wanted free souvenirs. We said sure! Who wouldn’t want free stuff? He then proceeded to try to get $40 from us as a down payment on a timeshare meeting which he promised we would get $1000 US and souvenirs if we sat through it. I told him I was not interested as I already own a timeshare I might be trying to sell. He then said he wanted to get my info to give to someone who would offer me the same amount I paid for my timeshare. Lucky for me, I had been doing some digging on selling my timeshare and he was trying to give my information to a HIGHLY ILLEGAL FRADULENT timeshare sales scam (they tell you if you pay them $1000 or so up front, they will find a buy quickly only to disappear with the downpayment). I had to practically bless this man out and demand my check 20 times to get rid of him. He was RELENTLESS and completely ruined our dinner! Please do not let scammers haggle your patrons because your food is delicious. This man, however, might be an actual criminal much less a scammer. I would not recommend anyone go to this restaurant to avoid this ILLEGAL activity and...

If you like mediocre ribs at a cheap price surrounded by expats/tourists with loud music, and weak drinks, this is the place for you! I'm not kidding when I say this place is popular among the foreigners.. its so white, it feels like you're back home.
When people say the ribs were good... have they never had good ribs before ? These were okay, and that's being generous. The sides are average, shrimp is not bad, but portions are small on the shrimp. Garlic bread is kind of sad and soggy, lying on the plate in desperation to have its life ended. Salads were good, but likely because salad isn't really a dish easily found here, so there isn't much competition. Baked potato is... well a baked potato is a baked potato, there's not much that can be blander than him. The drinks are very weak, mostly lots of juice. Stick to the beers that can't be cheated.
The atmosphere? Its smoky from the charcoal bbq, and loud from the spanish versions of popular 80s songs to draw in the gen x'ers from canada and usa... mixed with some bad country music blaring as loud as the speaker will go.
Maybe this is your kind of place. I mean, it is a decent amount of food for 320 pesos. But, if you came to mexico to try authentic food, this probably will leave you wondering why all the retirees came to mexico in the...
