So of course I go here because the reviews are amazing. We find the place and we have our suitcase with us. The stairwell is tight, but we make it up. This place is a quaint family run joint. The day is hot as a BBQ in August. The grand chef (the mom) puts a fan on our butts ASAP. My girl orders the Tuna Carnitas after Ivan (the waiter/son of the chef) suggests it. The Tuna arrives at our table. I prep my taco and bite in. I promptly have visions of leaving my girl and eloping with the Tuna happily ever after. I am still with the girl and regret my decision to this day. Seriously, the food is that good and the service is great! A must visit place when visiting Mazatlán / Plaza Machado.

We ended up going to totem where la callecita should get a class on how to treat customers. They on the other hand have a waiting list and check on you...

The reason for the four stars is because one other person in our party got enchiladas and they were ice cold. Everybody else's food was hot but this person's food was so cold that they couldn't eat. It. Seems like a one-off but a really weird one-off. If the owners read this, please make sure your food is served hot even if it's been sitting in the...
