So 6 of us come here, 3 Spanish speakers and 3 English speakers. We have been here before and the service and food were good but today was significantly different. I wouldn't be writing this review if the owner (Pablo and his wife Monica) would have just said sorry. That he couldn't even do. So we ordered and 3 of us got our food pretty quickly. 3 of us didn't. The three that didn't it took an hour and 45 minutes to get our food. We had to ask the servers 3 times and Pablo twice. When we finally asked Pablo in Spanish why it took 1.75 hours to get our food and had to ask 5 times, he said we are perfect and our systems are perfect.

I was like are you serious that's all you can say?!

It's normally really good but Pablo's attitude was awful and I would suggest a different place. There are a lot of great places to eat in Mazatlán, pick a place that doesn't approach mistakes with such arrogance.

Lastly to makes matters worst it took 40 minutes to...

A lovely, newly remodeled restaurant a couple of blocks from Plaza Machado. We went for dinner, but they have a wonderful coffee/cappuccino bar and serve breakfasts and lunches as well. The Philly Cheese Steak sandwich looked amazing and will be my next time meal. My husband had the tuna and it was over done. They didn't ask how he wanted it cooked, so next time he will say rare. The flavour was still amazing. I had the fettuccine with shrimp. It was very good, lots of shrimp in a rich sauce. But this is the second time I have been served fettuccine that has green peppers in it and not much in the way of garlic while in Mazatlán. Is this how it is prepared here? The service was wonderful and attentive. The owners father plays beautiful piano music that was lively yet not overwhelming. We were still able to have a conversation while we ate. Very reasonable prices and portions. We will...

Delightful atmosphere, wonderful location, exquisite food and friendly staff awaits for you in here. You may enjoy your late afternoon sitting on the cafe’s roof garden surrounded by historical buildings as you drink your hot coffee. Only a block away from the famous Plaza Machado you can go for a walk after you finish having your food. I do recommend doing so in the night time and on weekdays as it may get quite busy on weekends. For an even more enjoyable time make sure to bring with you good company to laugh with or a fine book to...

My wife and I had our first visit 2 weeks ago. We have gone back three times since then. The stuffed French toast for breakfast is great. The guacamole appetizer is excellent. The Argentina hamburger is highly recommended as is the lobster bisque. The pan seared tuna with roasted veggies was also very good. The roof top is an added bonus. Almost forgot we also highly recommend the Nutty Mango Smoothie's for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Service is also very good.

This place was amazing! We actually ended up going back to have breakfast there again before we left. The chilaquiles were some of the best I've ever had, but the star of the show was their apple cheesecake. I just about died. Wanted to bring a whole pie back home with me! The staff is amazing, and the ambience isn't touristy. Very locals only. The owners even came by to say hello. It's a must try!

My husband and I enjoyed a cool relaxing breakfast on the rooftop. Prices run about the same as most places in Centro District. Food was tasty with lots of flavor. Location was easy to find about a 50 peso didi ride from Golden Zone. We are Dessert people and hear they have the best carrot cake so will be leaving with a piece to go for after dinner tonight.
