The best sushi restaurant in the United States is Masa. The best sushi restaurant in Mexico is Mahi Omakase. There is no other way to put it, this place has some of the most delicious sushi I have ever had. The menu is unique and carefully catered toward many palettes and every dish has personality and balance to it. For sushi lovers, this is a must try as the restaurant offers peace, tranquility, and comfortability as you delight in freshly prepared sushi. Every time I come to Mazatlán I have to eat here and you should too.

THE sushi experience. If you are after a true japanese sushi experience this is the place to go in Mazatlán. Great service, greater food quality and preparation. If you are expecting "Mexican" style sushi, this may not the place for you. If you do not like fresh raw fish this is not the place for you. For a great experience, go for the tuna omakase course. For an amazing experience, sit in the bar with the chef

Such a fabulous dinner. The rolls and nigiri we had were perfectly prepared and had wonderful flavor. We came early (5:30 reservation) and were able to order what we wanted from the menu. Later in the evening it was Omakase (chef’s choice) only. I highly recommend this place for amazing sushi. Alexandra was our server and she was fabulous.

From all the dining experience I had in Mazatlan, this was the most expensive and least enjoyable. We asked if they have an English menu, and asked for some recommendations. We ordered Hamachi Tartar which was actually pretty good, but they charged us 100 pesos more than it was in the menu, also they charged us 15 pesos more for another roll. When we asked why the prices are higher than in the menu, they said that they don’t work with the menu given to us and we should refer to the digital version, but even in the digital menu the price was 100 pesos less than they charged us. They didn’t told us before ordering that the prices in the menu offered to us are wrong. Other 2 rolls were not good, one of them was basically a spring roll served like a sushi roll. Gyoza wasn’t good either. Probably what is good in this place is that the fish is fresh, but you could get same quality fresh fish in a lot of other places across Mazatlan with a better service and at a quarter of what you’ll pay here. We ended up paying the full price and tip them as well, but my experience in Mazatlan would be much better if I would never entered...

Me and my husband were the only customers. That was probably the first red flag. Unfortunately we don't speak Spanish so it was a little difficult communicating with the server and the chef. These were the only two individuals working. We decided to sit at the bar. The food was not great. He slapped some fish into a spring roll, cut it up and called it sushi. I was looking for sushi rice in my rice - isn't that part of the essence of a sushi roll? Anyway, I would not recommend this place. There was also price discrepancies with the english menu and the digital Spanish menu. We were overcharged at the end without any notice until we received the bill, it was extremely odd. The server apologized that what we saw on the physical english menu wasn't updated to the spanish digital menu, but the digital menu wasn't even matching the english menu. It is not that hard to update menu prices or match things together. Since the food was already underwhelming we were not happy about the situation. We paid and left,...
