The first time my wife and I showed up I ordered fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and my wife ordered Salmon sarandeado with a salad. The taste for both plates was amazing. I had a lemonade and my wife had a beer. Our waiter Alejandro was nice and very attentive to our needs. He provided a very good service. There was music and we enjoyed it. My wife was so impressed with the salmon and gave me a taste. The next time I came in I had salmon sarandeado with mixed vegetables. The taste was amazing and the portion was big. I ate it all very easily. I was the only person at the restaurant and Alejandro spent plenty of time with me asking me if everything was ok. At the end of my meal we had a long conversation. With my vacation ending I decided to go again. This time my waiter was Spartacus. He was very good with his service and he made me fresh lemonade. I had two glasses. Then I ordered shrimp al ajillo. It was amazing. They gave me tortillas and bread to make sure I got what I needed. The flavor was amazingly delicious. The shrimp was nice and tender. Great meal in a great restaurant. Hopefully when I come back I will visit again and try some of the other plates on the menu. Overall the restaurant is a solid 5 stars. When we visited the restaurant was not busy that is why I put 3 stars for atmosphere. For the service, Alejandro and Spartacus deserve 5 stars for the...
Read moreGreat spot for a happy hour. 2 beers and a hamburger and fries for $200 pesos. Great service. Our server spoke English, and we had English menus available. Server was very helpful in explaining everything. We enjoyed our time. We'll have to go back and try some more food. We did go back on a Saturday, and tried the pizza. It was a thin and a little bit chewy crust. Tasted like the crust was made a day ahead. We tried the Margarita pizza. Mixed review for me. The toppings were very fresh and quite tasty, and they added mushroom, a nice touch....but the mozzarella was sub par (still decent taste) and there was no red sauce (which is the heart of this famous pizza). If your restaurant has an Italian name, take a stab at real Italian pizza, which is all about the sauce, the cheese and the crust. But if you like a pizza with little little to no red sauce, this will hit the spot. You might try having them add olives to it. We tried a drink we saw at another table. It was called Cantarito, Made with Tequila and citrus fruits, not too sweet. It was wonderful and the bartender came out and explained it to us when we asked about it. The service here has been excellent. They had live music with a pair of talented singers. Seating on the sidewalk is...
Read moreWhen we sat down inside the restaurant we ordered 2 Cadillac Margaritas, 20 minutes later they brought the drinks, we had to send them back they were terrible, we found out that a young man that was about 16 had made them. Not a bartender. A waitress took the 2 back to the bar and 15 minutes later brought us 2 more “Margaritas”. These were just as bad as the first ones, not what we had ordered, the waitress had made them. She took them back. Another 10 minutes passed and another set of margaritas came and we were just sooo tired of being test subjects that we gave up and so we accepted them. Another 10 minutes went by and they finally brought our dinner. I had ordered Pasta Bolognesa and my wife ordered Fetuccine con Pollo. My serving size was about 1 handful and luke warm. My wife’s portion was a decent size portion but also luke warm. The prices were outrageous.. What a wonderful night out, thanks folks for showing us where not to ever go again. If there was an option to give less than a one star…well I’ll leave it to your...
