Ristorante Villa Italia — Restaurant in Sinaloa

My group and I visited Villa Italia twice. The first night the service was wonderful, it was fast, pleasant and professional. The waiter was attentive and good. The good was wonderful the fettuccini Alfredo was probably one of the best I've ever had.

We had such a great time there that we all decided to eat there again a second time. This time the service was beyond terrible. I can be patient but we waited an hour to get our food. While we watched the table beside us get served their appetizers their main and their desserts we sat and waited. It took asking for the bill twice and then asking for a manager to get our bill. The manager never did come to see us.

Also while waiting, we were at a table situated by the door under their air conditioners. Someone tried to turn them on and it sprayed our table with water and ice chunks. No one stopped at our table to check to see if we were ok, as it sprayed in our drinks and all over our cutlery. Or to apologise.

The food was the really something special but their attitudes...

We went here twice on our vacation from March 17-24, the first time I had the Filleto Di Manzo Ai Funghi. It was good but was a little too salty, my wife had the Salmone Al Pesto E Limone, it was just average. We decided to try it a second time to see if it would be any better. I ordered the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and my wife got the Chicken parmigiana, the Fettuccine was a little bland and the chicken tasted pre cooked and dry, the Chicken Parmigiana was not good at all, the breaded chicken had no seasoning and the tomato sauce used was like they used Campbell’s tomato soup, there was about a half inch thick of mozzarella cheese on top. Hello friends. Add to the list another great dining experience here in Mazatlán. There is plenty of Italian restaurant here, this place belongs up there on the best of list. Unfortunately, I was so hungry I totally forgot to take pictures of the amazing food. So close your eyes and use your imagination. The berry and pecan salad was fresh crisp and generous with the ingredients. Our meat lovers pizza, gushing with toppings and cheese, arrived quickly and hot. The crust was baked perfectly, The meat lasagna my girlfriend ordered was tasty and plentiful but lacked sufficient sauce and ricotta. The bread was also just so-so.
