Combo Taco — Restaurant in Sonora

We had an unfortunate situation arise in this irreputable establishment. The owner slid out of his video room where he was watching us because he not only admitted that he was recording us but was able to describe me and my family with minute details like as if he zoomed in on us.

He related that he keeps the tapes and watches them, and I'm guessing for nefarious reasons.

We were so grossed out by this troll we had to leave. He would not be able to get away with this in the US. I can only imagine what this creep does with your images. I don't care how fresh or how good the food here is - it's not worth it to end up in this guys home...

Tacos were okay the batter on the fish wasnt crispy on our taco it was soft/slimy the people working behind counter were not speaking english enough to take our order we ordered some combo tacos, fish and shrimp tacos, shrimp tacos, and yellow pepper tacos.. Nothing was a WOW it was ok the portions were not enormous like I have seen in other reviews they put the taco meat in your tacos. The tacos wouldnt stay together while trying to eat the taco the tortilla ripped every time you took a bite then taco would fall apart.. The salsa bar was tastless the guacamole sauce was bland no flavor and the tacos were 55 pesos each which over 10 pesos more than El Pescadito.. I would go to El Pescadito way before coming here. The fish tacos are wonderful. The breaded texture enhances the flavors without tasting too fishy. The shrimp is fabulously breaded with spectacular flavor emanating from the depth of the gigantic shrimp portions. Wonderful coleslaw and other additions have made me a lifelong fan of seafood tacos. Emphasis is on the food and not the luxury of a dining facility. In other words, come for the incredibly delicious food and leave the demand for beautiful furniture at home.
