Aguila’s Hidaway Cantina — Restaurant in Sonora

Not a great experience by any means. When you walk in, it is a rather well kept place, it was quite clean. Lots of billiard tables, bar, and seating. Outdoor seating also available. Service was okay, considering we were the only customers when we were there, it definitely could have been better. Food (Hamburgers) were served well-done, but cold. The presentation of the meals were pretty good, but not the flavor. We had an order of boneless bbq wings (starter), but it came with the burgers. They were limp, for lack of a better description. We had a great experience. Ernesto was very attentive and welcoming. Shared some good laughs while we had a few drinks. Drinos were on par and at a great price. Glad there was an ATM to get US dollars but unfortunately could only get $200 at a time. Understandably, the ATM doesn't pay for itself of course. We hope to be back again while we are still in town and would love to have Ernesto wait...
