Regina deserves 6 Stars.

My wife and I ordered 6 different items and everything was fantastic.

This is one of those restaurants where every dish on the menu is carefully curated and authentically made. We are ecstatic to have found this gem!

Go and enjoy the best food in Peñasco.

A+++

Gorditas de Chicharon were chewy, fresh, handmade and filled with moist, flavorfilled chicharon. Delicious!

Garlic mushrooms are served with lightly buttered thick toasted French bread rounds. They are meaty and so well seasoned you cannot stop eating them. Highly recommended.

Queso asado is a big chunk of panela cheese beautifully grilled and melted onto a huge piece of Nopal.

Chile Relleno is the best I've had in my life! Puffy egg around a tasty pompano pepper stuffed with queso topped with a chunky sauce of tomatoes, peppers and onions. The whole dish produces a wonderful jus that blew my mind! I cannot stress how much you HAVE to order this dish. DO IT (Bonus: it is served with an absolutely incredible small, tender, flavor filled meatball on the side! WOW

Enmoladas de pollo were next. Mole is a tricky dish since there are literally hundreds of thousands of versions. Reginas is par excellence! Tangy, sweet, rich, dense and powerful. Moist chicken inside corn tortillas support this amazing Mole.

Last but not least we ordered milanesa de res. Crispy coating with a thin tender slice of beef inside, 2 big portions! Delicious fries underneath to boot.

Note; all dishes are served with refried beans, Mexican rice, salad and chopped avocado. All top notch!

Service is very, very good. Details such as bringing me a second napkin on a tray to the table and placing it folded on the side of my plate were pristine. Much appreciated.

Decor is bright and traditional and gorgeous.

Overall this is now, by far, our favorite restaurant in Peñasco! Cocina de Regina...

Absolutely delicious! Wonderful service and beautiful atmosphere! We started the evening with the guacamole appetizer! The chips are probably the best I’ve had in Rocky point! The guacamole was fresh and full of flavor. The salsa had a kick and it was delicious. The shrimp fajitas were absolutely amazing and full of flavor! The shrimp was very fresh and the vegetables for perfectly cooked and seasoned. The rice and beans are homemade and you could taste the love! My husband enjoyed the chicken with green sauce, enchilada platter. So much food and full of fresh ingredients. The chicken in the enchiladas was cooked to perfection and was flavorful and moist. Highly recommend dining here! They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very friendly service and really cool atmosphere with lots of pictures and things to look at. They do not except credit cards, so have cash or pesos on hand. Little bit pricey but you do get a great meal and it’s an indoors restaurant with air conditioning which is...

Warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere with an eclectic decor. There’s a variety of dishes to choose from and the portions are plentiful. We were the only ones dining but it was great to have the place to ourselves.

FOOD: The complimentary chips, beans and salsa were a good start. The salsa had good flavor and a kick to it that I enjoy. Our 8yo ordered chicken tostadas - came with 3 bigger than normal shells and he gave the two thumbs up 👍🏼 and couldn’t stop eating. I ordered the shrimp stuffed avocado appetizer as a meal - it was overflowing with shrimp, onion & tomato on two large avocado halves and crackers to scoop. Very delicious! Hubby ordered shrimp enchiladas in green sauce - came with 3 heavy filled enchiladas, beans and rice. He loved it!

DRINKS: Hubby had a shot of bacanora, I had a red wine. No complaints.

Such a cute place with delicious food and a great vibe without all the malecón hassle. Looking forward to trying breakfast...
