I was there this morning 6/15/18 and their customer service was horrible. I did not like the way that the eggs were cooked, eggs were on top of my chilaquiles and I asked the waitress to remove eggs, when she took the plate into the kitchen someone started to gag, I as if they were trying to vomit, while my plate was in the kitchen someone continue gagging, once my plate came out of the kitchen the gagging stopped. So I asked the waitress if somebody did not like my food and why was that happening while my plate was inside the kitchen, she stated that somebody in the kitchen did not like eggs. As you can imagine I did not eat my food but after the horrible incident I still paid for the food. I asked for a supervisor, manager or owner and a very arrogant waitress wearing an orange shirt came out of kitchen and she just told me that the supervisor manager or owner don't come to the restaurant that often and that they're never around. She did not care at all about the situation and she did not try to make things better, she was smiling as if what happened was very funny. I was sitting too close to the kitchen that's why I was able to hear what happened when the waitress took my plate. I have been there many many times and I have always noticed that when you ask the waitresses anything related to how your food is going to be cooked or the ingredients they answer in a very rude way and try to make you feel as if you were stupid, I never said anything because the food is really good so I was willing to deal with their bad attitude.I only left a tip because the waitress that spoke English (black shirt) apologized and she seemed honest. If you eat there just know that if you don't like something on your plate and they end up taking your plate to the kitchen you might be punished and someone might end up vomitting in your plate. If the owner manger or supervisor are never around it means that they don't care about their clients and the waitresses are acting as if they were the owners. In case the owner doesn't believe the incident my son and nephew were also present. My nephew did not eat his food after he heard what was going on in the kitchen while my plate was there. I will never go back to the restaurant, it's a shame that waitress treat customers in such a humiliating way, yes food is really good take...
Read moreOur last stop for breakfast before we left peñasco. Our food was good but things kept appearing in my food. I had the chilaquiles Gloria. I first came out with a tangled hair in my food. I let our waitress know and immediately offered to replace it and apologized. She then said that she didn't know how it could of gotten in my food if the chef is bald. I told her that it was impossible that it was mine because I'm bald too. So she took my plate to take it back for znother. My second plate came out with more food on the plate and we'll placed. While half way in my plate I bit on a glass or some kind of hard thing. By that time I had it with my food so I asked for the bill. I waited after I paid to tell the waitress about what I had found in the food. I didn't want for them to think that I was trying to pull for a free meal. She again apologized but did nothing else. It would of been a great review if it wasn't for the things I had...
Read moreBest meal we've had on this trip! Went here for breakfast and they did not disappoint. Ordered Huevos Rancheros, which was one of the best my girlfriend and I ever had. Only one suggestion to make it better: put the beans on top of the tostada. Also ordered beef tamale with eggs, which was pretty good, but the scrambled eggs were missing some spices and flavor. I did like how they used fresh mozzarella over the refried beans. Freshly squeeze orange juice is on point. Good coffee. Food came out quick and delicious. The salsa was ok and not as flavorful or even mildly spicy, so I did not place them on my eggs.
Small place, but cozy. Parking is behind the restaurant. They have bathrooms outside with toilet paper and soap. The paintings were pretty neat to look at, especially the...
