My first experience with Birria, a rich shredded beef soup, was at this restaurant, and it was a very large bowl soup with cabbage, cilantro, onion, and limes as sides for garnish. It was a delight to enjoy. The soup was very flavorful and had a nice spicy kick. I found the texture of the beef to be very tender and it just melted in my mouth. The cabbage and cilantro added a nice crunch to the soup, which I really enjoyed. The limes also added a nice acidic twist to the soup. Overall, it was a very delicious experience and I would definitely recommend trying it.

Tampiqueña is another dish I’ve ordered there, which is their version of Mexican steak, with a side of rice and beans. The steak was cooked to perfection and was juicy and succulent. The rice and beans were also cooked perfectly, with a delicate flavor and texture. They garnished the plate with lettuce, tomatoes, and onion, which added to the flavor and presentation of the dish. I would definitely recommend this plate as well, as it was a very enjoyable experience.

This place is always a win, great and polite service, delicious food and good prices for what you get, great taste and quality. The only reason why I’m giving 4 stars is because this last time it wasn’t too enjoyable because of the flies trying to land on our plates, it’s a closed restaurant, I’d expect to have some control over that but unfortunately it was a fight against these insects. Of course not the staff fault, but would be nice the management can do something about this. Huge disappointment!! 👎 Les comento un poco mi experiencia en el que fuera uno de mis restaurantes favoritos de la ciudad: Cabe mencionar que era cliente muy frecuente, ya fuera con mi familia o con mis compañeros del trabajo íbamos mínimo una vez a la semana, incluso organizamos un par de eventos en el lugar. A fines del mes pasado consumimos del restaurant en nuestra hora de comida del trabajo (dividimos la cuenta), y mientras pagábamos la señora que nos cobraba movió la tarjeta a lo que me dijo que mi tarjeta no había pasado, que necesitaba pasarla de nuevo, accedí pues se había portado muy amable, mientras lo hacía le comenté que el cargo si se había hecho según la app de mi banco, a lo que ella dijo “se te regresara o nos avisas y te lo regresamos”, repito, como cliente frecuente no tuve desconfianza. Una vez pasada la tarjeta por segunda vez la amabilidad de la señora se tornó en una empatía nula y fue de “checalo con tu banco ya no es problema de nosotros”. Lo estuve revisando con mi banco y me dijeron que el dinero no se podía regresar debido a que si se cobró. Llame por teléfono al restaurante y me tuvieron casi 25 minutos en una llamada donde me pasaron con 3 personas diferentes y terminaron diciéndome que tenía que llevar un estado de cuenta del banco y los recibos de las personas que comieron conmigo ese día para estar seguros que no le pague a alguien más, todavía dudando de mi 😟 Si así me trataron a mi siendo cliente frecuente ya me imagino a gente que no lo es; y no hago esta crítica por el valor económico pues son solo $229.00 sino por la acción y el trato tan descortés, poco profesional y mal educado. Por $229.00 perdieron a un cliente frecuente que disfrutaba visitar el lugar.
